Applications for the 2019-2020 West Virginia Pest Management Association (WVPMA) College and Trade School Scholarship are now being accepted!
Up to four scholarships for a maximum of $2,000.00 combined will be awared each year. The deadline is April 1, 2020. The scholarship award is open to all sons and daughters of WVPMA active (voting) members, and member employees' children, who plan to attend college/trade school as an entering freshman in fall of the upcoming admission year.
Applicants must be high school seniors, graduating in the spring OR high school graduates, who have not yet started their college/trade school program.
Recipients must pursue: a) any course of study leading to one of the usual baccalaureate degrees in a college or university, OR b) a diploma for a completed course of study in a trade school.
Applicants will be judged on the basis of their grades, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT) scores, GPA, financial need, and involvement in civic or extracurricular activities. Other criteria may also be considered, such as the parent’s length of employment with the company and counselor recommendations.
